2009-2019 C3 and DS3 airbag recall – DO NOT DRIVE
Stellantis have issued a STOP-DRIVE recall for all 2009-2019 manufactured C3 (2nd Generation) and DS3 (1st Generation – both Citroën- and DS-badged) fitted with Takata-manufactured airbags.

PLEASE put your car’s VIN into Citroën UK’s recall checker asap, and do not drive the car until after it has been confirmed not to be affected.

The airbags have a serious fault that will cause lethal injuries in the event of deployment. The upgrading of the previous recall has been mandated by the French government, following another fatality in France directly caused by this issue. Many manufacturers have recalled cars over the last decade for these airbags, the costs of which caused Takata to enter bankruptcy in 2017.
No other models are currently affected by the stop-drive notice, but checking your VIN for recalls would still be a wise precaution.
2025 Club AGM
Your June Citroënian contained a paper voting form for the AGM, to be held at the Citroën Festival on Saturday, 12th July.
You can vote using that paper form by post (address on the form), by bringing the form to the AGM, or online – you can find the electronic voting form under the “Members Area” menu above, once you’re logged in to the website as a club member.
If using the online form, please remember that you have to click the VOTE button under EACH vote, not just the one at the end. If you only click the last one, your choice will only be recorded for that one vote.
You can revisit the form, and complete any votes that have not been registered.

A year of big birthdays
2024 brought many anniversaries to the Citroën world.

The Citroën Car Club itself was 75 years old. We’re one of the oldest one-make car clubs in the world, not just the UK.
The Citroën Traction Avant was 90 years old.
The Citroën CX was 50 years old.
The Citroën Xsara Picasso was 25 years old.
2025 brings more anniversaries :-
20th of the C1 and C6
55th of the GS and SM
70th of the DS.
More than anything, though – we look forward! We rejoice in every car to wear the chevrons (and the DS logo…)
